Prog. notes: This piece is the prelude to the concert Don Quixote's journey through time and space. It aims to describe the adventure of Don Quixote and his followers into the fantasy world. As a start, describe the traveller's firm steps, and often use different sounds in the same or similar rhythms to introduce different percussion instruments in repeated rhythms to perform gradual changes or transfers in sounds. 此曲為「唐吉訶德跨時空旅程」音樂會之序曲，旨在描寫小說人物唐吉訶德與他的隨從一起進入幻想中的世界之冒險旅程，打擊樂器部分以穩定、重複的節奏作為開始，描述旅人堅定的步履，並常藉由相同或相似節奏下的音色疊合，在重複的節奏中引入不同的打擊樂器，以進行音色上的漸變或轉移，實驗一種以音色營造音樂流動性的想法。此外，也藉由預錄電子音樂搭配打擊樂，在器樂之外開展一種撲朔迷離的氛圍與不同的空間感，藉此呈現小說人物唐吉訶德幻想中的旅程之各種奇幻經驗。
