Prog. notes: The Cosmic Sound is the sound installation which consists of 10 objects. 4 of them have the Geiger tube as the sensor to sense the cosmic rays. 2 of them have infrared light sensors to sense the human body. The signal from the objects transform into MIDI signals. The computer system create the various kind of musical phrases according to the signal which comes from the Cosmic Sound.
コズミック・サウンドは１０個のＵＦＯ型のオブジェとコンピュータ、音源より構成される。４つのオブジェはガイガー・センサーを内蔵し、宇宙からやってくるガンマー波に反応して音を生み出し、２つのオブジェは赤外センサーにより人の動きを捉えて音を生成する。１９９６年に香港で開催された国際コンピュータ音楽カンファレンスの折に、科技大学の空中回廊に設置された。その後、韓国のソウル、神戸のジーベック・ホールにおいてもインスタレーションが行われた
