Prog. notes: Morning Rain for piano and electronics portrays the soundscape of morning rain in winter which is mixed with illusion and reality, and is blurred by the listener’s vague consciousness when he is half-awake. During the performance, the pre-recorded sounds and effect settings need to be triggered in Max/MSP sound playback system by a computer operator or by the pianist with a MIDI pedal according to the cues notated in the score. The main real-time DSP effects used in this piece include reverb, delay, and filter. The piano pedal is also frequently used throughout the piece to help create the dreamy effect.

《晨雨》給鋼琴與 Max/MSP 的互動音樂作品，在描述冬季的早晨，乍醒未醒之際，窗外雨聲與夢境所交織而成的一種現實與幻境重疊的聲景。演出時以Max/MSP所設計的互動音樂表演系統，配合鋼琴演奏的部分，依序觸發相對應的預置聲音檔案與即時效果器，其中，即時效果器的部分主要包括殘響、延遲、濾波器的使用等，並配合鋼琴延音踏板的大量使用，交織出有別於純粹傳統器樂演出的特殊聲景。
