Prog. notes: I got the inspiration from Octavio Paz’s “La Otra Voz”, the essay about poesy when I was thinking of this piece. I have discovered some ideas of mine similar to his theory on poem. I tried to construct this work with symbolic invisible messages, searching for mysterious timbre. The words, “voz” in Spanish and “koe” in Japanese are spoken by players, to produce this atmosphere. My recent interest is to imagine “invisible things”, which might be the pivot energy of my creativity. Japanese sensibility and aesthetics are always hidden in my works consciously or unconsciously. Thanks to the Onix Ensemble, I could have an opportunity to present my work in Mexico for the first time.
