古筝是一件兼备色彩性与效果性的乐器，与电子音乐同样拥有丰富多彩的声音。作品中电子音乐的背景部分全部来自于古筝的采样音色，试图在真实声音与被电子化后的古筝虚拟声音之间取得新的联系。

作品在结构上参照唐大曲“散序、中序、破”的多段体结构，分为十一个小的段落。古筝的定弦是将21个音分为降E、降G、降D和E、G、D六组不同宫音系统的五声音阶，在演奏上充分发挥古筝按、揉、挑、滑、煞弦、泛音、拍击等技巧，以追求更丰富的音乐效果。


The piece Fairyland is inspired by a poet of officer Yu Kui in Yuan Dynasty. The general idea is, going to the pavilion and drinking at night, the golden cups are harmony with the splendid palace. Dancers is dancing in rows, following the melody of Zheng , which presents a picture of fairyland.
Just as the characteristic of electronic music, Zheng is an instrument that includes various kind of color and sound. The composer tries to get a fresh relationship between real sound and virtual sound, presenting the combination of the tension and the beauty of expression of Zheng and electro- acoustic music.

The structure refers to a special format which lived in Tang Dynasty and has eleven small parts. Zheng has 21 strings and categorizes them into different scales within different key note. In performance, various method are used to maximize and colorize the music effect.
